Kritikerbewertungen für den Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 2019:

Bewertung Palliser Estate Martinborough Pinot Noir 2019Cameron Douglas MS: 93/100 (Excellent). Very enticing bouquet with a captivating core of pinosity - fruit aromas of sweet red plum and dark red very ripe cherry, scents of sweet violet and rose then a silty, fine gravel soil minerality. The aromas of barrel spices are abundant too with clove and roasted vanilla pod. A dry wine with fruit and oak flavours that mirror the nose contrasted by an abundance of fine tannins, medium+ acidity, noticeable concentration and length. Well made and ready to imbibe from today and through 2026+.

Bewertung Palliser Estate Martinborough Pinot Noir 2019Bob Campbell, MW: 93/100. Bright, fresh, youthful Pinot Noir, with vibrant dark cherry, plum, fresh herb and spicy oak flavours. A stylish wine that promises to develop well with a little bottle age.

Bewertung Palliser Estate Martinborough Pinot Noir 2019VINOUS - Rebecca Gibb MW: 92/100. An elegant, finely woven style that has been wild-fermented before being matured in French oak for 10 months. It doesn't try too hard and does things quietly while managing good concentration, which is rather refreshing. There are layers of aromatic intrigue here, from the bright rasberry and blackberry fruit to wormwood (which speaks of a small percentage of whole clusters) to smocked charcuterie to cedar. Be aware that there is a slightly reductive character when first opened that adds the merest whiff of onion powder and tension, but let that wane with time in the glass - or even a decanter, if you're feeling fancy. The tannins are resolved, coating the palate with a fine stone-licking texture that provides a dry, savoury, lengthy conclusion. Drinking window: 2021-2027.

Kritiker über Palliser Estate Martinborough Pinot Noir 2019Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 92/100. Palliser's 2019 Pinot Noir continues in much the same vein as previous vintages, with a savory, dark-fruited profile, muscular structure and ample oak. That said, there appears to be an evolution toward more refinement and elegance, with those plum and cola flavors more precise, the tannins more streamlined and the élevage more subtle. At least this vintage, the result is very pleasing overall, and this medium to full-bodied wine is velvety and nearly opulent in feel, making it the best Palliser Estate Pinot I can recall tasting. Drink Date 2021-2027.

Bewertung Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 2019

NZ Wine Rater (Steve Bennett MW, Lynette Hudson): 96/100. Classic, perfumed, savoury wine with oodles of personality. There's lovely macerated, dark cherry notes, chary, ground coffee oak characters, and a funky, meaty sulphide-derived complexity. A charismatic wine with pleasing richness, layers of flavour, and quite serious, structured tannins. This is a wine with broad appeal that's got a long drinking window ahead.
