The exceptional vintner Tony Bish uses, fitting for the wine's name, egg-shaped, golden-coloured concrete tanks. The wine is renowned for its mouth-filling richness and mid-palate opulence, framed with fresh citrus acidity.
3x Tony Bish Heartwood Chardonnay 2022: A Hawke's Bay classic, skillfully created in new and used barriques. A Hawke's Bay classic, skillfully created in new and used barriques. The 2018 vintage was among the "Top 100 Wine Discoveries" by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. The "King of Chardonnay", Tony Bish, aged the wine in new and used barrique barrels for 11 months. 100% barrel fermented in French oak it delivers plenty of that vanilla spicy character we all love, with a great citrus nose and hints of nuttiness.
