Reviews & Accolades
Decanter World Wine Awards 2026: Silver & 90/100. Expressive nose with melon, smoky thai basil. Succulent passionfruit and guava palate cut with pithy citrus layers, a whisper of mineral. Salivating.
Cameron Douglas MS: Recommended. Aromas and flavours of apples and citrus, a layer of tropical fruit punch and lots of freshness. Just dry with a tickle of sweetness though mostly the core of fruit framed by the acid line delivers a wine that punches above its weight for the price. Well made with best drinking from 2025 through 2026.
Tasting Note
This wine has the classic Marlborough aromas of ripe passionfruit, freshly mown grass and chopped summer herbs. These characters echo in the taste of the wine, with the addition of fresh lime zest and lemongrass and more tropical fruit flavours. The palate is dry and zesty with lovely concentration.

Additional information
Type: White wine
Grape varial: Sauvignon Blanc
Food match: Perfect as a refreshing glass of wine on its own, or enjoy with seafood, shellfish, salads, vegetarian dishes.
Vineyards: Lawson's Dry Hills has several vineyards across the Marlborough region, including the Awatere Valley, and the grapes for this wine were drawn from the best of these blocks. 2025 was marked by good flowering and a dry, warm summer so each parcel of grapes was harvested when it reached ideal ripeness and flavour.
Winemaking: Each vineyard block was picked individually in the cool of the early morning. The grapes were gently pressed and the juice from each fermented in separate tanks, using specially selected yeast to highlight the wine's fruity character. After fermentation, we selected the best tanks for blending to create this wine.
