Single vineyard Chardonnay from vines originally planted in 2001 on the lower slopes, terraces and flat, old riverbed of la collina vineyard. It has always been the plan to produce a flagship Chardonnay from the la collina vineyard, reflecting the variety and the vineyard site rather than the winemaking. 

This Chardonnay is a lightly oaked wine in a refreshing style. Showing ripe peach and stonefruit aromas with hints of nougat and Grapefruit.

We have not given up and can now finally offer you an Ata Rangi Chardonnay. This family-run winery in the heart of Martinborough Terrace has been producing award-winning wines for over 40 years.

Kupe is made entirely from Escarpment's home block first planted in 1999 on Te Muna Road. The alluvial gravels on the Martinborough Terrace provide a distinctive character that sets a benchmark for New Zealand Pinot Noir.

ZEN is an intensely rich, textural and quite unique wine. 100% made in a Taransaud oak ovum, a large egg-shaped fermentation vessel, which adds weight and density. Beautiful nose with subtly mealy citrus fruit. The palate has beautiful texture and finesse. Such precision and detail with some spicy, mealy richness and an amazing intensity and balance. There will be no ZEN 2021 or 2022.

A captivating wine with pure expression, textural richness and impeccable balance. Fermented in New Zealand's first concrete eggs(!). The exceptional vintner Tony Bish uses, fitting for the wine's name, egg-shaped, golden-coloured concrete tanks.

First made in 1982, the 2022 Awatea is the most concentrated ever and a real delight. Heartwood is a traditional Hawkes Bay masterpiece. Barrel fermented in French oak barrels, with 30% new oak, it bursts with flavours of stone fruit and vanilla bean - a true delight for the Chardonnay lover. The 2018 vintage was among the "Top 100 Wine Discoveries" by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

One of New Zealand’s highest rated Syrah. The Lovat vineyard was planted in 1992 and thus as some of the oldest Syrah grapes in Martinborough. One of the last vintages of this outstanding wine.

Library Release: A superbly balanced, wonderfully mature Chardonnay with a clear texture, lively freshness and long-lasting acidity. A limited quantity of each vintage has been set aside for later release. It is a unique way to experience a beautifully matured Chardonnay from one of the country’s top producers. From vines dating back to 1981.

Newly Released 2023 Vintage. The fruit comes from the Mangatahi terraces, known for their cool climate and beautifully fresh, vibrant flavours. Sandy, silty soils with volcanic influence sit above deep red metal gravels – perfect for producing expressive, elegant Chardonnay.

Few bottles available: Limited single vineyard wine from the gravelly Kotinga Vineyard (planted 2001). Fine red fruit, plum, floral, and autumnal spice aromas, elegantly aged in 2280L wooden barrels. Exceptional finesse and long ageing potential. This is the 2nd release of the Kotinga Pinot Noir.

This strictly limited Pinot Noir is the result of a highly selective production process, which perfectly captures its exceptional purity, profound character, and the true essence of its origin.

The 2024 Hawke’s Bay Sauvignon Blanc is a youthful wine with fine acidity and length.
